Professionals Nord is seeking a driven Electrical Designer on behalf of ScandiNova for their Production Engineering department. About the Position

As an Electrical Designer at ScandiNova, you will work on the design, configuration, and support of customized modulators. You will be part of the Production Engineering department, which is responsible for design and ensuring high quality in production. The role involves close collaboration with production and requires that you primarily work on-site in Uppsala.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Design and configuration of electrical designs for modulators and auxiliary equipment according to customer specifications.
• Maintenance and improvement of drawing documentation and models to ensure correct and functional designs.
• Active participation in prototype assembly and verification of new solutions.
• Quality assurance of products and production processes.
• Collaboration with departments such as R&D, production, and quality.
• Participation in projects to improve product platforms and customer-specific solutions.

We are looking for someone who

To fit the role, we see that you have a technical background in electrical design and experience working with electrical schematics for industrial applications. You are meticulous, structured, and enjoy collaborating to solve technical challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience in electrical design and working with CAD tools.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We would like you to be able to design, configure, and document electrical designs independently, as well as understand the importance of standardization and technically robust, cost-effective solutions.
